Downtown Austin Couples Session

When I say I love what I do, people like Jacque & Kelcie are a big part of my reason why I do. Their love is so unique and their personalities so amazing that create art with them was a BLAST!

Jacque reached out to me asking if I’d be down to do a photoshoot of her and her girlfriend, I was like “absolutely yes!” and didn’t really understand the concern on her voice asking me that. As going through the session I brought up how excited I was when she reached out to me and at the same time how I was “not understanding her concern on why wouldn’t I be okay with photographing them” and they told me how surprised I would be if I knew how many hard situations they’ve been for been a lgbtq+ couple, and that not always people treat them as they’d treat any other couple. That broke my heart. And at the same time, I felt so grateful for having a career that have the power to change the mind of our society about so many things, including to the lgbtq+ community. Once again, I felt so grateful for been the chosen one to represent people and their lives. Love is love, and Jacque & Kelcie love is the most fun and beautiful I’ve seen in a while!

We had so much fun going on rooftops and walking and laughing on the streets of Downtown Austin (Texas), that sometimes I even forgot that was the first time ever I was seeing them. That’s my favorite kind of clients, those that feel like friends after a few minutes together!
